Payment Processing Fee Calculator
Estimate what you receive, what to charge to reach a target net amount, and how processing costs change with transaction volume.
Monthly comparison
Same average ticket, channel and international/conversion choices for every provider. Each payment is rounded separately. Volume does not imply a negotiated discount. Entered monthly overhead applies only to the selected processor; other rows use the listed standard plan without extra overhead. Account-specific quotes apply only to the selected provider. Unavailable combinations require a quote.

Rates, dates and calculation method
Provider configurations are separate from the page and calculation engine. Each snapshot is effective for this model from October 6, 2026 and was reviewed that day; this is not a claim that the provider first introduced its rates on that date. Version us-2026-10-06.1. Next review: December 31, 2026.
Stripe presets model online cards or Terminal card readers, excluding Tap to Pay and optional terminal add-ons. PayPal online models PayPal Checkout, not every PayPal card-processing product. In-person models PayPal POS card-present. Square models the Free plan; legacy and paid plans can differ. Hardware, disputes, instant payouts, optional products and unentered costs are excluded.
Transaction fee = rounded gross × combined percentage + fixed charge. Individual percentage lines are rounded for display; a rounding-adjustment line reconciles them to the total. Provider billing and exchange-rate rounding can differ. Net receipt = gross - fee. Gross-up searches integer cents for the smallest charge meeting the target, subject to a $1,000,000 limit; it is a pricing calculation, not a recommendation to impose a surcharge.
Refund net = original net - refund + confirmed fee credit - additional refund charge. Monthly fees = per-payment fee × transaction count + entered overhead. These are estimates, not guaranteed settlement amounts. Use the manual mode for a negotiated or different product rate.
