Answer-first introduction

Toolistify’s student calculators help you measure current academic performance and plan the next step. Calculate semester GPA, cumulative CGPA, attendance percentage, marks needed in a final exam and the average GPA required to reach a target. Each calculator should show its formula and a worked example so the result is easy to check.

Choose a calculator

Semester GPA Calculator Use course marks or grades, grade points and credit hours to calculate a credit-weighted semester GPA. CGPA Calculator Enter semester GPA and credit hours to calculate cumulative performance across your degree. Attendance Calculator Calculate current attendance, the consecutive classes needed to reach a requirement and the future classes you may be able to miss while remaining above the target. Marks Needed Calculator Enter completed assessment marks, the remaining assessment weight and your target to find the score required. GPA Target Planner Use current CGPA, completed credits, remaining credits and a target CGPA to calculate the average GPA needed from this point onward.

Which result should you use?

A calculator result is only as accurate as its inputs and grading settings. Check whether your institution uses credit weighting, repeated-course rules, rounding, grade replacement, relative grading or a different grade-point scale. Toolistify should let users edit the scale or clearly identify the default assumptions.

Recommended calculation sequence

  1. Calculate the current semester with the Semester GPA Calculator.
  2. Add it to previous semesters in the CGPA Calculator.
  3. Test a future goal in the GPA Target Planner.
  4. Check attendance and remaining marks before setting a study plan.

FAQs

Is GPA the same as percentage?

No. A percentage may be converted to a grade point under an institution’s grading scale, but the conversion is not universal.

Why are credit hours important?

Courses with more credit hours normally contribute more to a credit-weighted GPA or CGPA.

Can Toolistify match my university’s grading policy?

It can when the relevant scale and rules have been verified and implemented. Users should be able to choose a preset or enter a custom scale.

Are GPA calculations official transcripts?

No. They are planning estimates. The institution’s official record controls.
