Per-unit selling economics

Amazon FBA Profit Calculator

See what remains after inventory, Amazon fees, returns and advertising.

Your per-unit scenario

Enter USD amounts per sold unit. Fee inputs are your estimates, not a current Amazon rate card.

Copy the referral and fulfillment dollar estimates for your product from Amazon's Revenue Calculator. Referral fees can depend on category, price tiers and minimums; this tool uses the final dollar fee you enter.

Allocate storage across the expected holding period and units sold. Returns should be the expected additional net loss per sold unit after refunds, recoveries and fee adjustments, without repeating costs already entered. Include allocated selling-plan, inbound placement, removal, closing or other applicable charges in Other costs.

Inputs stay in your browser. Example values are illustrative.

How this Amazon profit calculator works

Net profit = sale price - all entered costs. Margin = net profit / sale price. ROI = net profit / all entered costs, including advertising. This is a cost-based return per sale, not an annualized investment return or inventory-only ROI. A zero denominator is shown as unavailable.

Break-even advertising budget = sale price - costs excluding advertising. This is the total allowable advertising spend per unit, not an additional budget on top of the advertising already entered. A negative budget means the scenario cannot break even even with zero advertising. Break-even ACoS divides a nonnegative budget by sale price; it assumes that same revenue and cost mix.

All amounts are entered and calculated in cents. This scenario excludes unentered costs and income taxes. Revenue excludes sales tax collected for remittance. Avoid double-counting landed product costs or charges included in another fee. Actual refunds, unsold inventory, promotions and fee changes can change your results.
