COMSATS general undergraduate formula
COMSATS aggregate = SSC percentage × 0.10 + HSSC percentage × 0.40 + NTS percentage × 0.50 The calculation should first convert obtained marks to percentages where totals are provided.
Worked COMSATS example
SSC: 950 out of 1100 = 86.36% HSSC Part-I: 480 out of 550 = 87.27% NTS: 75% 86.36 × 0.10 + 87.27 × 0.40 + 75 × 0.50 = 81.05% The estimated aggregate is 81.05%.
Result-awaiting notes
The official Fall 2026 admissions page states that HSSC result-awaiting candidates submit First Year marks. It also provides a special note for A-Level result-awaiting candidates. Build these as explicit calculator states and reproduce the current official wording accurately in the source panel.
Program exceptions
The official admissions system notes that Architecture and Art & Design programs include an interview and use a different formula. Do not allow the general calculator to run after such a program is selected. Route the visitor to a dedicated verified method or the official admissions page.
