FAST-NUCES Aggregate Calculator 2026

Calculate a FAST-NUCES undergraduate aggregate using the current program-group weightages for computing, business or engineering admissions.

Admissions Calculator FAST Aggregate Calculator 2026 Open full tool

Answer-first introduction

FAST-NUCES uses different undergraduate selection weightages by program group. For the current computing and listed business programs, the published weights are 50% admission test, 40% HSSC or equivalent and 10% SSC or equivalent. Engineering programs use 33% test, 50% HSSC and 17% SSC. Select the correct group before calculating.

FAST aggregate formula for computing and listed business programs

FAST aggregate = test percentage × 0.50 + HSSC percentage × 0.40 + SSC percentage × 0.10 This group includes the computing programs listed on the official criteria page and the specified BBA/business degrees. Always use the current program list rather than assuming every degree follows this formula.

FAST engineering formula

FAST engineering aggregate = test percentage × 0.33 + HSSC percentage × 0.50 + SSC percentage × 0.17 The interface should change the visible formula immediately when “Engineering” is selected.

Worked computing example

Admission test: 80% HSSC/equivalent: 85% SSC/equivalent: 90% 80 × 0.50 + 85 × 0.40 + 90 × 0.10 = 83.00% The estimated FAST aggregate is 83.00% for the selected computing formula.

Eligibility and cut-off warning

The official criteria also state minimum academic and subject requirements by program group, while the merit cut-off is determined by the university. The result should therefore display two separate panels: “formula result” and “basic criteria check.” Never label a formula result as admission confirmed.

Result-awaiting and equivalence handling

The official page explains which available HSSC or equivalence marks may be used when compiling merit. Toolistify should ask which result is available and display that choice in the result summary. O-Level or A-Level applicants should enter the relevant equivalence percentage, not raw grades.

FAQs

Is the FAST formula the same for engineering and computer science?

No. The current official criteria show different weightages for engineering and computing program groups.

What is the current FAST computing weightage?

The published 2026 criteria assign 50% to the admission test, 40% to HSSC or equivalent and 10% to SSC or equivalent.

Does the calculated aggregate guarantee a campus or program?

No. Cut-offs are determined by FAST-NUCES and can differ by program, campus and applicant pool.

Can I use an NTS NAT result?

Only an accepted test type for the selected program and current cycle should appear in the calculator. Verify the official list.

What marks are used when HSSC Part-II is unavailable?

The official criteria describe the applicable alternatives. The result must identify which academic record the user selected.
