Admission Merit Calculator
Estimate aggregate, eligibility, previous merit comparison, and admission chance for Lahore universities using transparent formulas and planning models.
How it works
Answer-first introduction
Select a supported university, program group and admission route to estimate an admission aggregate. Toolistify shows the weight assigned to each academic or test component, the formula source and the date it was reviewed. The result is not an admission decision, merit position or guarantee of selection.

Your estimated [university] aggregate is [X.XX]%. This result uses the [program group] formula for the [cycle] admission cycle:
- [component]: [weight] — contribution [value]
- [component]: [weight] — contribution [value]
- [component]: [weight] — contribution [value] Formula status: [Official published formula / Formula-based estimate]. Selection warning: Meeting an eligibility threshold or comparing favorably with an old closing merit does not confirm admission.
How admission aggregates are calculated
An admission aggregate is usually the sum of weighted component percentages: aggregate = component 1 percentage × weight + component 2 percentage × weight + ... The tool must calculate each percentage from obtained and total marks before applying the weight. Do not multiply raw marks from components with different totals.
Why university and program selection matters
A university may use different weightages for engineering, computing, business, design, ACT/SAT routes or result-awaiting applicants. Toolistify should load a formula only after all required selectors are chosen and should show any program exceptions above the calculate button.
What the result does not include
Unless explicitly supported, the result does not account for quotas, domicile, category seats, preference order, interview judgment, document verification, equivalence decisions, test validity, program-specific prerequisites or changes made after the review date.
FAQs
Is the aggregate calculated from marks or percentages?
Each component is first converted to a percentage and then multiplied by its published weight.
Can I use Part-I marks while waiting for the final HSSC result?
Only when the current university policy permits it. The selected formula should state which result is being used.
Does a previous closing merit predict this year’s selection?
No. It is historical context and can move with applicants, seats, programs and policy.
Why is my official aggregate different?
Possible reasons include equivalence, rounding, program-specific rules, updated criteria or an incorrect route selection.
How do I report an outdated formula?
Use the correction form and attach the current official source. Toolistify should show a public update log after review.
